Our Caterpillars Are Here!

Our caterpillars have arrived and we are 

SO SO SO excited!

We will observe them eat and eat and eat and grow and grow and grow and finally 

molt into a chrysalis!  Your child will be journaling what they see and learn during this month.  

In 3-4 weeks we will have many many beautiful butterflies!  I encourage you to ask your child what they are learning about the life cycle of a caterpillar on a daily basis.  They have already learned A LOT in these last few days.  

This month we will be studying the amazing author and illustrator Eric Carle.  He has a great website!  You should check it out with your child!

We will be doing a lot with his book, 

The Very Hungry Caterpillar.  

We have painted our own caterpillars and they are crawling all over our classroom!
