Supply List

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Welcome to Kindergarten at Apple Valley! The following is the necessary supplies your child will need for the school year in my classroom. I have also included a “wish list” of items that would be helpful to have on hand in the classroom. If you would like to donate, we would very much appreciate it. Please remember that the items on the “wish list” are NOT mandatory.

Thank you for supplying your child with the necessary items for school. Please, make sure that he/she brings them to his/her conferences OR the 1st day of school, as many of the items will be needed immediately.

Supply List

 

 

• 1 backpack (no rolling backpacks preferred)
• 2 or more boxes of 24 count Crayola crayons
• 2 Elmer’s white glue bottles (4 oz.)
• 1 box of #2 yellow pencils
• 5 or more small, white Elmers glue sticks
• 2 or more containers of Clorox Disinfectant Wipes
• 1 set of Crayola markers
• 1 package of Expo dry erase markers
• 2 spiral notebooks (solid color; wide rule)… please, no pictures or graphics on cover
• 2 pairs of new or used adult tube socks
• 1 plain white t-shirt (new is not necessary…we’ll be making a class shirt) *Please write his/her first name on the collar. Remember they will grow during the year and the shirts do shrink, so you may want to buy a little big in the fall.  They will be wearing these over their school clothes on special occassions.

*Please DO NOT write your child’s name on supplies. All the Supplies are shared! Thanks!

• Gallon size plastic zip-loc baggies
• Sandwich size plastic zip-loc baggies
• White Paper Plates (small and large)
• Extra boxes of Crayola Crayons
• 1 colorful box of Kleenex
• Cotton balls (colored and white)
• Felt Squares (all different colors)
• Large Paper Grocery Bags
• Bag of Pony Beads
• Different Colored Pipe Cleaners
• Hand Sanitizer
