To go along with the story Wacky Wednesday by Dr. Seuss, the children were surprised to find out today was Wacky Wednesday in our classroom. They came in to find so many strange things going on. There were chairs upside down, baskets in the wrong spot, pictures upside down and a shoe on the wall.
"A shoe on the wall?
That's what started it all."
~Dr. Seuss
We had so much fun extending the story into reading, writing and other fun projects through out the day.
I love to hear them belly laugh.
It is so contagious. While reading the story, we had a hard time making it through without taking time to giggle.
There was a lot of laughing today, especially when they created their own page to our class book. They came up with some Wacky ideas.
We can't wait to share it with you at conferences!
We came up with an idea for our class picture. Since we always face the camera, why not turn around?
They thought it was so funny!
Notice some even turned their shirts backwards for the day.
Can you find the shoe on the wall?
How Wacky!
