All month we have been reading different versions of the famous tale of the Gingerbread Man. It has been their favorite time of day.
After each story we discuss the different characters, the setting and the ending. Did that sneaky old fox eat the Gingerbread Man?
Ask your child to tell you all about all the stories we have read.
Which one has been their favorite?
I wanted the children to be able to smell the delicious aroma of Gingerbread so we made our own Gingerbread cookies and Gingerbread Man today. The kids made sure the door was locked just in case he decided to run away. Luckily, he decided to stay. We love having him in our classroom! Isn't he cute?
We hope all of you can join us TOMORROW at 1:00 to help decorate your child's Gingerbread House.

We will be reading our last story The Gingerbread Baby tomorrow. It is about a little boy who builds a Gingerbread house to catch the Gingerbread Baby.
It is one of my favorite books.
It is one of my favorite books.
It's the perfect story to read on the day of making Gingerbread Houses.
We hope you can make it!
