We are back from spring break and have been working hard preparing our room for April. This month we are studying the amazing author and illustrator Eric Carle. Earlier in the week we painted The Very Hungry Caterpillar to hang in our classroom.

We are enjoying our classroom library of books by Eric Carle. I love to see my little readers get so excited when they open a book to read.

How do we measure up?
~This week we have began learning about measurement. One of their first projects was to measure the length of their arms, legs, hands and how tall they are using links.

Our tiny little caterpillars arrived today!
Our study of the life cycle of a butterfly has begun! We will be observing, reading and writing about caterpillars and butterflies. You are always welcome to come and take a look!
